Karen Blakemore, BTF Level 2

Karen started in Triathlon in the 90’s and was National Age Group Champion in 1998 and won Mixed Team Gold at the National Relay Championships in 1999. Her favoured distance is Olympic, but she has been known to dabble with Middle Distance! After taking a break, due to family commitments, Karen got back into Triathlon in a Coaching role, something she loves. She is also rediscovering her love for cycling and running, so watch out for her on podiums next season…

Andrew Watson, BTF Level 1

Andrew describes himself as ‘an ageing sportsman, desperately trying to hold his body together!’ He took up Triathlon in 2011, to keep up his fitness and the need to fulfill his competitive edge, after retiring from Rugby and Cricket. His love of Triathlon, and the desire to encourage others to take part, led him to Coaching in 2017. His Coaching goal is to teach Pete calligraphy…

Pete Jones-Hall, BTF Level 1

Pete came to the Club in 2015 as a ‘non’ swimmer and 6 weeks later did his 1st Sprint Triathlon, he had the bug! In 2016 he completed his L1 Coaching Course and with Tom’s guidance and the support of the Club members has quickly become a valuable member of the Coaching Team assisting both poolside and with the run sessions.  His handwriting is terrible…
